SIMATIC PCS7操作員站既可以作為一個(gè)OPC服務(wù)器使用用作Windows IT應(yīng)用程序的數(shù)據(jù)源，也可以作為一個(gè)OPC客戶機(jī)，訪問(wèn)OPC服務(wù)器的應(yīng)用數(shù)據(jù)。

使用 PCS7服務(wù)器和相應(yīng)的Web aGlance/IT客戶機(jī)，可以通過(guò)工廠網(wǎng)或因特網(wǎng)實(shí)現(xiàn)全局在線監(jiān)控。除此之外，處理 aGlance接口的主機(jī)信息系統(tǒng)也可以使用 PCS7連接到SIMATIC PCS7。
